Racing: Magdalena Neuner continues to place trust in Fischer
For Magdalena Neuner (GER, Fischer skis and boots) everything was set in stone last weekend. The 23-year-old German clinched victory in the overall World Cup in the Khanty-Mansiysk (RUS) stadium. She also extended her contract with Fischer, her existing ski and boot sponsor, in the course of the season's final races and the successful partnership is set to continue.
"An awesome season! Two Olympic golds, an Olympic silver medal, the crystal globe in pursuit and mass start and victory in the overall World Cup. I don't think it will really sink in until I've been at home for a couple days and things have calmed down a bit," says last season's outstanding biathlete, summing up her achievements.
And to ensure that she can continue celebrating such successes in the future the exceptional athlete has decided to remain loyal to her equipment provider and the Fischer ski and boot package. Her explanation is both simple and clear: "I didn't have to think twice. The equipment and service have been perfect – let's continue!"
