Racing: Boost for FISCHER SUBARU Racing Team

In future Benjamin Seifert (GER), a former member of the German national cross-country skiing team, will be wearing the colours of the FISCHER SUBARU Racing Team when taking part in the ski marathons of the Euroloppet and Worldloppet series.

The former World Cup racer Benjamin Seifert will give the twelve-strong international works team a considerable boost. The athletes with the yellow and black equipment from the number one will compete in all the races of the DSV cross-country skiing series from January to March and aim to continue the successes of the previous winter.

Seifert also has his sights set on top places in these races in the future. He already got a taste of international ski marathons last season in the Swedish Vasalauf. However, he was not really happy with 33rd place there. "The race didn't really start as I imagined it would do," says the 28-year-old from Oberwiesenthal. He drew attention to himself in the Classic Race of the Dolomitenlauf, however, clinching fifth place. His clear goal for the future in German races is a place on the podium.

Ideal conditions
As the global market leader in the Nordic segment, Fischer Sports supports the team members by providing them with first-class equipment (skis, boots, poles and apparel), creating perfect conditions for success in the sport. SUBARU Germany provides the team with four Forester 2.0Ds with the revolutionary boxer diesel engine for the athletes to travel to the various events. In other words, everything that Benjamin Seifert & Co. need to concentrate solely on their sporting challenges.
